These houses were popular in the early 20th century, and I really like them. According to the Wiki page, they can often be found near railroad tracks (I see a lot of them in and around Chicago).

Has anyone ever modeled one? A DLS search for "Prairie Box" and "Foursquare" brought up nothing.

WoW ... At $1995 I'll take 400,000 of them, and make a zillion bucks.

Super houses ... Would be a welcome addition to the fine Sears houses that are on the DLS

There are similar houses made by tlanders. They're made from brick and are common on the north side of the border in this form.

Up where I live, they've become so ubiquitous that you'll find them in any neighborhood. Bradford, which is on the south side of Haverhill, has whole neighborhoods of these. They were built originally from kits in the early 1910s to mid 1920s either by the land owners, or by the developers that purchased them.

They sure are. They look like the Sears kits from around 1923 or so.
