Anyone else seen this with CM 3.7?

Unless I minimize CM 3.7, it remains on top on my desktop. I tried 3 times to open my e-mail and thought there was something wrong. There was. CM 3.7 wouldn't let it be on top. Even doing the ALT-Tab combo doesn't work. CM overrides any other program. How can I get CM to behave normally? Even my browser is affected.

I have not seen this, CM3.7 dutifully falls in behind any newly opened application.

Some application windows have an "always on top setting" but a quick look through the properties of CM did not reveal this setting, perhaps somebody else might be able to say if there is such a setting somewhere.

No problems here either, likewise I was thinking there may be an always on top setting, can't find one anywhere. Haven't got any Windows add-on that provides that capability to programs?

I am aware that certain NVidia cards may have that setting in their driver, although it may well have been removed by now as it's been a while since I used a system with an NVidia card. Failing that, have you got any desktop/window management software like WindowBlinds or similar installed?

1. No NVidia
2. Windows Aero yes
3. It's only CM v3.7 that has this problem (61388). CM v3.6 is normal (49922).

That's weird. I remember that option, but it no longer exists in the NVidia Control Panel. I think they found that only a few people used it and everyone else was annoyed with it.

The only thing I can think of is there is that CM is trying to display a prompt about something and keeps popping to the front.

Hmm, the only files that trigger this annoying behavior I know of, are *.chm files. They launch a build in windows help reader, that always wants to 'stay on top'. It's a technology that should have been replaced by html help file format, but *.chm stuff is used still by many.

I run Windows 7 Pro, TS12 build 61388 & NVidia GeForce 9800GT with latest drivers & have not seen this behavior.
