Anyone downloaded TS2012 yet?

If you don't have TS2010 then please re-frame from commenting on upgrading to sim 12 as you have not used TS 2010 to compare it with,or state what version you were using before sim 12,
your comment could be misleading to others

I have 2010, I'm going to not upgrade until at least 3 service patches come out!

Really no point in getting 2012. Right now it has less assets then 2010 lol

I heard that TS12 has no backward compatibility, and yet in their marketing spew, they claim a user can download "hundreds of thousands" of custom created assets from the download station. If it is true that compatibility has been removed in favor of the worthless multiplayer feature, then what is NV3 smoking? Hundreds of thousands?!? You won't find that many for 2006, 2009 and 2010 COMBINED!!! And they want newbies to think they will find this much content for 2012?!?

For me, 2009/10 still needs more content. 2012 just sounds like a waste of money.

Poeple dont really understand what compatibility mode did. If the content is error free in TS2010 it will work in TS12. Doesn't matter if it was made in 04, 06, etc. Compatiblity mode made it so content that was faulty would still be able to use with a performance hit. And with the DLS clean up most of the assets on there will work in TS12.

On the other note: I havent come across any serious bugs yet.:hehe: But that doesnt mean the software is bug free.

Hert, you are incorrect on that to some degree.

Vegetation Scenery has been severly compromised if it is older due to apha changes very hard to impliment on older existing vegetation.
Even those that claim they have "native mode" vegetation still have alpha issues and a result compromise it's quality.
