Now we all know of Jointed Rail which is excellent. Downloaded lots of stuff from them. Any other Third Party Download sites that are reliable? I went to RRMods but cannot access their payware - a message that says "Fatal Error" shows up instead. And when I downloaded their Freeware and transferred the Cdp file to my Trainz2 CM, they downloaded but I couldn't find them anywhere. ??? I downloaded a CN SD75I from Trainzstop but the asset was missing a dependency that I found on the same site I downloaded the SD unit from. The missing dependency was trucks on another unit I had to download, BUT I could NOT access that asset dependency at all. So I have a CN SD75I sitting "in red" on my Trainz. Not sure why these sites are still operating as they are if they're un-reliable. They're just wasting people's time in a sense. Correct me if I'm wrong on that. Any "reliable" Third Party Download sites out there on top of Jointed Rail?

There's a lot of sites around the most notable(for me) is Erecting Hall, Sufferin Pacific, NARM, K&L Trainz(payware),Trainz Forge, Subpar Productions,Steam Locomotive Works, TPR, USLW(Old site that isn't updated anymore, but you'll be going to it a lot because it has a lot of assets that are used as dependencies same deal with TPR), Paulz Trainz, American Trainz Group and TrainzItalia and many many more.

Also the reason why RRmods' payware might not be working for you is because you're trying to access they're old payware, they're new payware content is stored here.

I would also suggest checking out the TrainzKuidIndex which you can use to locate dependencies more easily also there are some that elude it.

Ok, sounds good! Thanx for the tips BBarnes. Way ahead of you on the TrainzKuidIndex.com. I use them for Unknown Assets. It works but sometimes even that site cannot locate an Unknown Asset and I make sure to type in the Kuid properly too.

Hi.
There was another Third party website that had all British steam locos and wagons, but I cant remember the name of the website can anyone help with the name.
Thanks Tony

Probably thinking of UK Branch Lines, the site has long gone bits of it were on the wayback machine, however most of the items are on the DLS now anyway. The few active UKBL members merged with TCWW http://www.trainz-carriage-wagon-works.com/ which puts most stuff on the DLS apart from some items hosted on jatws.org.

BBarnes005, and Clam1952 mentioned just about all, but there are others:

http://www.carsoncarshops.com/ for vintage American loco's, buildings and such (mainly of the latter half of the 1800's and early 1900's).

http://glenwoodshops.com/ for fantastically done (and huge!!!), American routes (mainly of the eastern part of the US). He also has a perfect model RR reproduction of John Allen's "Gorre and Daphetid" [the most famous model RR ever built] !

Then there is http://www.ballynagarrick.net/ing4trainz/index.htm for a fantastic collection of railway wagons, locos, structures, signals, and track of Ireland and Great Britain. Steve Flander's has the very best collection of them' old "Pot Boilers" wagons, and carriages from the very beginnings of RR'ing!!! And I'm talkin' REAL old, before Stephenson's famous "Rocket" even!

... Not-to-mention all the above-listed sites are FREE !!! :)

If you want some spanish stuff, just visit SpainTrainzRutas.com and Viajerosaltren.es. Their content is worthless in terms of overall quality. Also you can visit Lunman3d.es, if you want some High Speed stuff (specially scenery)
