What does everyone use to cover an end piece to say, something like MP track? I suppose I am looking for something like a small gravel pile, or any technique you might use to cover the "hole" at the end of the track.
I use BALLAST PILE, it's included in Trainz 2010, under the the same name, there are two versions, one in brown gravel and one in grey gravel, I sink a little bit into the ground and turn it to give of different heights and different looks. Adding more ballast piles to the origional one makes it larger and more different each time.
There are some track ends on the DLS but I just raise the ground just enough to cover the ends with a good ballast texture and then put grass clumps on it.
Also available are "Sand Drags"! they are very good at covering up track ends! We in UK used to use them in fron of "Buffer Stops" to slow down 'runaway' rolling stock!!
