Another Trainzmap Question

I thought I'd give Trainzmap a try. I downloaded it, installed it with no problem. I open the route I am working on and I see the tracks but nothing else. In my route I have 3 things...the track, milepost 1 to 55 and signs that mark where towns are going to be placed. These signs are marked Town 1 thru 10. Should the mile markers and town signs show up? I made sure that the marker button was on and I even printed a copy out. The only thing on the map is the tracks. Am I missing something?

The map display elements are controlled by the toggling the icons along the top menu bar. For an explanation of what they are, click Help then select Help and expand the User Interface - Menu commands.

I believe the view menu duplicates the toolbar buttons and is a little easier to figure out for the new user.

TrainzMap only displays track related items such as Triggers, signals, junctions, stations etc.

Oh ok, thanks. I wanted to make sure. I thought the markers would appear.
