Where is the Fuel level gauge in a diesel locomotive? Say a GP or SD?

A lot of locomotives do not have them, some have them on the side of the tank as a sight guage.

On newer locos with fancy computers its all monitored by the black boxes.

So if you're playing reality. there's no way to know ur runnin out of fuel?

Fuel consumption by locos is not a built-in feature in Trainz, it has to be implemented by the loco's creator using a script. A diesel will run most of a day without refueling so a cab gauge was not needed prior to computers. If you want to implement fuel consumtion you'll need a script. I think RPearson and Eldavo have made scripts. You might PM them for help.
