I have several of the Trains games installed on my computer. I love this simulation! It is absolutely great!
I am building a huge layout in Trainz 2009 (in Surveyor). How do I use the Adjust Height function so that it will adjust the height of object other than bu 1.00 (the default adjustment)? There are many items that I want to adjust say, by 0.4 or 0.5, but it will not allow me to change the height except by +/- 1.00. This is very frustrating to me.
Also, I have many railroad crossings setup throughout the layout (with many more to be added as I continue working on the layout). I also have many 3-way and 4-way intersections setup with red lights and/or stopsigns. I am not familiar with how to use the ATLAS controllers, or how to set them up properly. Can someone please tell me how to set up the ATLAS controllers (how to use them to stop traffic at red lights, stopsigns, railroad crossings, etc. Also, how do I get the crossing gates to work correctly at crossings? How do I toggle car traffic so that I can see car traffic on my roads (in Surveyer)?
I am also setting up a number of industries (that do not have automatic consist tracks with them). I am setting up the industry, adding one (or more) multi-industry tracks, selecting the products that will be consumed and/or produced by the industry. How can I change the consist of certain types of rail cars? I have done this with several rail cars and received error messages (something wrong with the way I setup the consist or something).
I am trying to build an airport (with airport runways), but am having trouble getting the runway "parts" to attach correctly. It seems there are at least 4 runway items that need to be used (two items for the end of the runway which shows the runway number and two items for the runway itself). Is there a runway type spline that has all of this stuff already put together, that can be used to create the runways and taxiways more easily?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please respond to me directly at mastertype@mabspc.com (as well as to this list).
Thanks so much. I know there are people out there that know how to do this kind of stuff.
