Annoying Problem with TS2010

MKT Forever and always
I'm having a problem with TS2010, one that has been happening since the day I installed the game. I really can't explain it very well with words, so I think a screen shot will do it better justice.

This is on Philskene's Krashnburne RR Co. Interestingly enough, this is what the route looks like without a single train. These walls of...well, i have no clue what they are, are appearing out of buildings and track.

When a locomotive is added to the route, this is what happens:

As you can see, the "walls" are now radiating from the locomotive (please note that this happens with any locomotive and any car, no matter what). I'm at a total loss, because the interesting thing is this only happens with routes made by Philskene. I don't know it its a problem on my end or some glitch that my computer is magically finding in the route. With many other people using his routes, i highly doubt the latter.

Does anybody know what's happening here? Is it something wrong with my computer, a error in the patching process, or what? I should be up to date with everything, i hope. I'm running this on Windows 7, but that's about all i know, (can't seem to find the specs for the computer and i don't know them offhand). I'm utterly confused and highly annoyed at this, as Philskene is my favorite route creator, and to not be able to run his routes leaves a big hole in my trainz expirience.

I hope someone knows what's going on, or at least has the same problem, so i know i'm not just crazy! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm only guessing, just loaded a session to look. With there being so few baseboards you need to be low down otherwise you fall off the end of the board causing very odd results. Move the mouse until you get yourself over the boards then zoom down.

I suspect Phil has been dabbling in the "black arts" again, and has turned your monitor into the Ninth Gate.

It's happened before. Just keep your distance from the screen and try not to make any sudden moves. We're still looking for the last guy.

Many Trainzers have reported seeing him in their routes. They say he looks like he's screaming something important, but they can't quite make it out...

So, uh, good luck with that!

I would think that is it... if it weren't happening on his IndustRail5a. It's big, and i think it's more than one baseboard wide. Otherwise I'd say that's it. the problem is that, with the way the camera is set to start, it already hangs over the edge. And when i zoom in, problems only get worse.

Ugh, it's so confusing:confused:

What happens when you run the same route in 09? If it renders properly in 09 then I would suspect a problem with your 2010 install or setup.

Looks like some kind of vertex shader problem to me, could be due to a corrupt install, or it could be bad video drivers, or something else entirely.
