animals

Hello All,

I have a hard time finding any animals for my layout. The few I'm finding, are usually not 3D and/or do not work for 2006.

I am particularly looking for dogs (there really should be some in any layout), and ducks, geese, swans (ponds and beaches look rather deserted without them).

Any creative people out there that feel like giving this a try???

Neoklai75, you made such beautiful cows, how about some of these??

They do not even have to move or anything, just be 3D.

And if anyone know of some of these existing somewhere, I'd be grateful for a pointer.

I've seen the moose, unfortunately there are no moose in the region I'm working on.

Oh, by the way, there ARE some very nice DEER, that I've used a lot. They're made by AngelC, but as far as I can tell, he/she has not made any other animals. I wish he/she would, cause those deer are very well made. There a some very good horses, that I've used as well. I was just focused on the wildlife at the moment.

There are some built in wolves (with sound) but these are 2D.

I think there are some dogs about on the DLS but I couldn't find any cats and other species seem few and far between.

If you have a look in the animals section on the DLS, there are quite a few items to view. I can personally recommend looking at the following creator's kuid numbers - gfisher 106916 and our dear friend euphod 7592, who have done all sorts of animals and birds, there are also some fabulous birdsongs to download as well, try java23 on kuid 23299.

In the animals section is a lot, but most of them are sounds, most of which are my own. There are also a bunch of country of western music(???)
The aforementioned dogs, ducks, geese, swans are 2D pictures, and they show faulty in 2006, AND you're not allowed to modify them.
So I'm still looking.

NEW 3D ANIMALS ON DLS

In continuation of my previous plea, I just want to tell you all, that we have new 3D animals on DLS. Dinorius has created a set of dogs and a set of alpacas for our virtual worlds.

These are the dogs. I may be bias, as I'm the proud owner of the model for this creation, but I think they're adorable. Dogs can be found on DLS as "Dog 01..." to "Dog 03..."

These are the alpacas. A whole family, and cute as a button. They are listed on DLS as "Alpaca 01" to "...03".

I'm overjoyed and grateful, and I hope we see more wonderful critters from this new talent.
