Kuid2:93112:22127:1 is a copy done by another party they have alterd config file and texture config and reloaded back using my user name THIS WAS NOT DONE BY ME and they have made a mess of things so sorry to all who have downloaded it,i thought all users were honest

Are you sure it was not an item involved in the great DLS clean up, that you would not know anything about as you have not been on the fourms for over 6 months

Your recourse to this is to submit a ticket to the help desk but you will have to wait for a reply as there are no instant answers, there always pretty busy just after a new version release.

One other option is to re send the item to the DLS as a new update kuid that over rides the old version ie Kuid2:93112:22127:2

But looking at the date of the current update I would be willing to say that it been brought up to code as part of the DLS clean up to removing bugs and make content work error free in the new trainz TS2010/TS12 native mode.

It's probably not an honesty thing more likely the Official DLS repair program, all fixed assets are kuid2.

You should have been informed though that the item was faulty and given the opportunity to fix it yourself, if you didn't get an email, its probably in the spam folder............

And lets be clear here, if, as in this case, the original author is unsatisified with the 'repaired' asset, he/she is still more than welcome to upload an updated asset themselves, that supercedes the 'repaired' asset's kuid, themselves.

This is in-fact what should be done in this case.

If the original author doesn't want to get involved with updating their assets, then it's their loss. If the 3rd party asset is substandard, then other creators that are willing to stand by their assets will replace the 'bad' repairs over time.

And to be clear, I am in no way involved with the repair of any asset by the thread's OP or the asset in question.

For what it matters that is by Sholborn ... I could not find any of his asset that had a :221 kuid2:93112:22127:1

Look in the config file and tell us what the asset is.

If it is a ground texture ... dump it for another.

If it is a dependency of a railcar or loco, you can replace it with a similar asset kuid in the dependants config file

Got it in 2009 and checked the new one in 2010 version, looks the same, guess he isn't happy or aware of why the config was changed, whoever was responsible could have done a better job on the description, Winter Poplar which is what it was if I remember correctly in the original config seems to have been "fixed" to read Simple Winter Tree in the presumably newly added description, that's enough to annoy anyone I would think!
