An Interesting Conundrum

So I have TRS10, and a decent computer. Not a good one, but not a bad one. I have no problems running TRS10. But just to ease the strain on my computer I decided to replace the 3d track on the CSX Saginaw sub with some lower guilty track. Now the 3d track doesn't really slow my comp too much, but I didn't want to risk it while pulling a 60+ car train through my home town of Holly.

So I used the "Replace Asset Tool" to swap out the tracks and it work just fine. Until I went into a yard area. Some tracks would not load, they where there, just would not show up. Same for trains. If I place a train I have to leave the grid area and come back to see it, some times. And large white holes in the scenery just vanish and reappear at random. This happens even if I reload the map, or TRS. Same thing happens if I try to build a route. But I dont have this problem if I use the 3D high quality track.

Any one know what might cause this? Or must I suffer and look at good track? Yes, I am complaining that TRS10 makes forces me to use good looking track. LuL

Lower quality track doesn't always mean it works better, it can make things worse. What you are describing is symptomatic of the bad spline problem.

If you enable developer options and take note of the kuid with the worst buffer count, you will probably find it is the old track, if it's over 100 it's going to be a problem, don't worry about the other figures, just the worst buffer count.
