An Amtrak press release announced their plans to make a series of "Travel Green" wrapped cars. The current plans include a P32AC-DM & an Acela. The scheme will consist of the same basic design as the current Phase V scheme with the Swoops being green instead of blue and the "Travel Green" logo on the sides.

Amtrak said:
As travelers, we all realize that we need to get from point A to point B, but we'd like be able to get to our destination without ruining the earth. The good news: we can balance our travel needs and also mitigate our impact on the environment when we travel by rail. So leave your car at home, and let Amtrak get you where you need to go.

More than just a convenient way to travel, Amtrak is also energy efficient. Traveling by rail contributes less per passenger mile to greenhouse gas emissions than either cars or airplanes. According to U.S. Department of Energy data, Amtrak is almost 14 percent more efficient than domestic airline travel and 31 percent more efficient than auto travel on a per-passenger-mile basis.

To raise awareness of the fact that rail transportation is much greener then other forms of transportation we are announcing a series of "Travel Green" paint schemes for some of our trains. We are planning to paint an one of our Dual-mode GE P32AC-DM Genesis Locomotives into our special "Travel Green" schemes; as well as an Acela Consist.

Are they using "milk paint" to achieve this? Any other paint will contain VOC's that off gas into the atmosphere...

The "Travel Green" Logo is straight from Amtrak's website (ok I had to adjust it to fit nicely on the train, but the colors are the same). The green swoop is then the same green as in the logo. It looks better in game then in Meshviewer truthfully. However I was going for a 'rendered' look so went with MV2.
