Amtrak Coaches?

Does anyone know where I can grab some Amtrak coaches that carry passengers for TRS2004? I'm having to use the Sante Fe coaches that came with the game, and you can tell that these coaches don't belong with a Genesis Amtrak...

I heard josefpav's Superliners will work, but I can't get them to carry any passengers. Any help?

I tried the amfleets from the first link, but they have missing dependencies because they're not showing up. None of the downloads from the second link work. I don't want the via cars because they don't belong with a Genesis.


If you got the amfleets to work, can you tell me how? Thanks.

I just downloaded the superliner IVb, II and III cars and all installed and commited without errors into TS2010. Which ones do you show missing dependencies?

All of them, basically. But you said you tested them in TS2010, not 2004.

They aren't designed to work in the outdated TRS2004. They're made for TS2009 and up.

That figures. Do you know of any amtrak coaches for TS2004?

none that are passenger enabled. I did some Surfliner & Cascades reskins of the Bombardier BiLevels which have been backdated to 2004, they should be passenger enabled. I don't remember off the top of my head if the 2004 version is available on TCR or AMTZ.

Ok, let me know where I can download them. Or is there a way to make a passenger coach carry passengers? Like editing the config file?

Yes, but if you want passengers visible inside, you will need PEV's tools, which I don't think work in '04

There may be extenuating circumstances that stop this, but I would suggest upgrading to a new version

and yeah man definitely upgrade. i just bought TS2010 EE and its great. no problems at all. and most content for trainz is TS2010 or TS12.

also, you can edit sooo much more in TS2010.

if one of those vouchers comes up (20% off or whatever) ill shoot u one.

@ H222: I don't mind if there aren't any visible passengers inside. I just want a passenger carrying amtrak coach. If I can edit the config file of a coach, how would I do it?

@ overkill: I got the F40PH, but it's unskinned. I'd be grateful if there is a skin to download for it.
I'm considering upgrading to a newer version. Thanks for the voucher notice.
