I thought I would create a thread to post my Flickr photo updates in.

I have today uploaded 20 new photos taken around Port Adelaide, South Australia. You can view all of my uploaded photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/alyxt

Thank you for these. I assume the photos were taken near the new railway bridge. Can the public access these areas to take photos or do you have to watch your back all the time for security to move you along .

My pleasure.

The spot I was at was on a road called 'Ocean Steamers Road' and can be accessed by the public (here is a map of the area).

The photos of trains on the bridge were taken just behind the shed in the bottom left of picture. If you scroll up, you'll also see the Port Flat yard that several operators use daily.

If you head down there, be warned that due to shunting movements across the level crossing near the yard, you can be trapped on that side of the level crossing for up to 20 minutes at a time.

Thanks for the comments. Another lot of photos from a wet and windy ANZAC Day are now available with a couple coming a bit later.
