As you know the new Route I'm Working is going good but I hade to save the route do to errors that killed my hard drive. The route is safe anh the work on holded for now the good news is nothing is lost. the bad news is I can't work on it intell my pc is fixed.
Just so you know the two CN Locos Are uploaded to My wed Site in the downloads. Look for File CN F7 #9170 & 9171 ( use the 2nd link ). The Dragon's Pass 2 Well have to sit on back up for now. :wave:

it ok i have lots of time to save the route. i did lost 90% of my work but that was nothing if i hade lost the route.

You know, there are some companies that specialise in data recovery from damaged hard drives. Maybe you could see one of them? I hear that these kind of people even managed to restore data from some of the Challenger hard drives!

There are various techniques which all depend on how the hard drive is damaged, such as putting the hard drive in a freezer overnight and then attempting to access it, to transferring the platters (buts that store the information) to another hard drive to recover the data.

However, due to the nature of these techniques, it can be time consuming and expensive to do this, and not all of the data may be recovered.

I see mmm... I'm not shore if there aney one who do's that in eastern canada. I look around and see if there a shop that fixes hard drive.
