All Trains and cars unlocked?

When I'm on Surveyor. I wanna select a single train and a car, but it is in red.
How do I unlock it? D: I wanna make a nice track but what do I do to unlock it?

if its red then it either has an error, or is missing a dependency... no objects in surveyor are locked, nor can they be locked so pull up the object in cmp and tell us what it says

Do I need to reinstall or something? Did I do somethign wrong while downloading maybe?? :|

No you didn't do anything wrong.
If you download stuff sometimes 2010 CM shows it as faulty/missing dependancies.

How do I get the engines and cars though? I wanna make a nice layout with them. And how do I get cars to drive on the road? I spawn a road and does the lil car button have to be highlighted or not highlighted? Btw I have the Engineers Edition

Seeing as your new to this just use stuff that's not red in surveyor, until you get used to things.
Re the cars, try the button I dont bother with them.

thats the only edition out and go into Content manager. its lunch trainz then content and pull up the item and left click so it will say show errors and show dependencies and see if there any dependencies that say unknown or dls. if there are your missing them

Yeah, The buttons still dont work... =/ and is the game box lying? It says you can drive Trams, Boats and Cars... Sorry if I ask alot of questions. lol

Have a read of the manual, it comes with the boxed version or on the start menu. Its worth a read to get you started.

You dont drive the cars or boats, they're eye candy.
Only trainz do you drive.

What Auran means there are drivable cars and boats, you just have to look for them and there are also planes

There are all kinds of vehicles you can drive. Not like you would in the real world but on a track like a train. Use an invisible track and lay it out where you want your car, boat, plane or horse drawn wagon to go. You can use track markers, triggers or anything you use with visible track. Any of these vehicles that you have will be in the Railyard so you can check them out.

For road traffic check to see if the region for your map is set to "default".
Traffic not allowed in the default region. You will need to change it to a different region.
