The dls cannot remove anything from your machine, if you have lost all your downloads, then you must have deleted them nobody else.
Check your content manager settings, it could be that you have altered something & they are just hiding.

99% of all problems are end user faults.

Have you opened Trainz in another user account on your PC?

If so, and you've never used Trainz in that other account, you will get the "raw" version as first loaded.

Try doing an "Extended Database Repair" in CMP 3.3.

I have to ask the question; why in heavens name would you think that N3V would want to remove your content ??? - Have you been a bad lad, or something? :hehe: You have registered copies of Trainz. Besides, to the best of my knowledge/our knowledge once contents is installed on your PC, they can't delete it. They can update & obsolete content, but not delete all of the contents you have downloaded... (it's got to still all be there somewhere)!!!
They are in the business of distributing content, not deleting content !!!

Also make sure you haven't got "favorites only" ticked...

Keep us posted.

Cheers, Mac...

Hi Everyone,

May I take this opportunity to thank the persons who responded to my nightmare. Let me fill you in on what happened. I installed a new anti-virus on my pc. The box came up for me to register my copies of trainz which thinking it was because of the new anti virus I proceeded to do so.
When I came to load my venue on all I got was landscape, no buildings, the odd bits of track. I did make a backup of trainz on a portable hard drive and that works ok but its no were near up to date. Ive done a full database repair and I now have got a couple of stations a bit more track and nothing else.
Is there any way I can transfer my portable copy at least then its not all lost or is there something still I can do to bring it back.

Many thanks rawhide60

Hi meatloaf747,

You are spot on, it was the favourites. This trainz program if I keep playing on it I will need to buy a wig because it makes you wanna pull your hair out.
I cannot thank you enough
Cheers rawhide

That only occurs if you make the grave but possibly common mistake of not running Trainz as an administrator. ;) If you run Trainz as an administrator, as you are supposed to, then that will never happen, and you can use Trainz from any user account, as Trainz was never designed to save its settings and stuff to the user account. Instead, it saves it only to its installation folder.

That is something that really needs to be stickied around here, to remind users that they must run Trainz as an administrator at all times on Windows Vista or Windows 7. ;)

Regards.
