AI or not AI?

Guys,

This may sound a little crazy but I am working on a workshop idea and am wanting to have a few steam trains in there (for repair or awaiting repair) and as they will not be running I was curious whether they could in someway be disconnected from the AI, I realise that I do not have to have them running but I am worried whether they would confuse the AI as I would like about 10 working loco's.

Any thoughts?????

Not to worry ... AI trainz are already muchly confused !

You can disable a loco in it's config file (I think) by changing the engine tag from "1", to be "0" and it will be an unpowered railcar

Ai don't need confusing, therapy yes.
Have as many locos as you like without drivers (AI).
AI will stop short if you route them to an occupied line.
