Ai Obeying Speed Sign

First off I have done a search and can't seem to come up with an answer that works. I have plenty off signals with speed signs placed at each signal. I also have all junctions set to the correct path so there are no yellows ahead. When I place a speed sign say a reduction of speed from 60 mph to 30 mph before a town the train slows way to early as much as a mile before the speed sign. Very unrealistic. I'm using CSX Speedboard Signs in TRS2010. I've tried different speed signs with different spacing but nothing seems to help. Is there any way to use Triggers to solve this problem or is there another solution? Frustrated here in Illinois you might say. Hard to maintain my schedules when the trains slow unnecessarily so early. I can' figure out a work around. I wish there was something I could change in the speed signs TXT file to change the radius that the train see's it or something in the engine file that adjusts how far ahead the train looks at speed signs. I space mine out at more than a train length apart from one another.

I also use 10 mph increments between speed signs.

Sometimes a speed sign is not recognised until the end of the trains last car pass's ... other times it is the first lead car or loco.

I cloned & modified a 10 mph speed sign config file numerals, and achived a 5 mph speed sign.

I like running my trainz at @ 30mph to 10mph, on my "Slide", which has a 11 mile steep downhill -1.75 % gradient, with a 13 mph speed restriction on a -2.37% section.

When the speed limit changes, the train honors the lower limit. So when the speed limit increases, the effects are seen after the last car passes the speedboard. When the limit decreases, the effects are seen as the lead locomotive or cab car reaches the speedboard. If speedboards are too close together, the driver might honor an incorrect speed limit as its last car passes a higher-limit speedboard seconds after the lead locomotive passes a restriction.

If trains are slowing down too early approaching a town I doubt if it is an 'advance' reaction to a speed sign. I'd be looking for a misaligned lever causing a red sig and the train is slowing for the sig not the speedboard....
