AI driver problems :(:( T2009

When ever im in surveyor and put down loco's i can put two down and they work with AI when i add more and give them instructions they are set up correctly. But when I go into driver only about 2 work and the rest have a question mark where the driver profile should be any help at all ????

If you have added more than so many trains in, you must add the extra drivers manually using Driver Setup (it's in Edit Session), then assign them to the relevant trains.

I've tried that it doesn't make any difference :/

It should do - bear in mind though, that you will have to add the driver, then select the train.

It still hasn't worked these are the steps I took

I'm working on a route and I go to place my loco's
most of them are from the DLS BR steam loco's sometimes diesel

Place loco about 5-6 and keep one for myself to drive
add driver and set AI instructions
Go to test drive from surveyor
about 2 AI loco's actually work
The others don't move at all and the place where the drivers photo is meant to be isn't there instead it is a question mark.
These can be manually controlled by me but no instructions can be given to them.

I have this problem almost on every route I make (when I put loco's down)

At the point where you added the driver, next to the driver's name, there is a link you can click to select the train you want the driver to control - did you remember to click that?

Yep I did that too

OK - can you try saving the session, exiting Surveyor back to the main menu, then entering Driver from the main menu screen?

QuickDrive does not seem to work very well in TS2009.
