Yowzah! What a great train! I would have paid a lot more for it and counted it worth it. I remember when that train came out. Yeah, I'm that old. I had the old Varney model of it, but it got lost in a move. Typical. I now have the MTH 0-27 version I put on the floor once in a while to tease my cat, but I have always liked that train, and now I can drive one. Thanks so much Auran-NV3. (Any chance of a Union Pacific #80 coal turbine and a Veranda turbine in the future with the same detail, including the actual cab interiors?)

It's good that some members like the Aerotrain, most don't seem too thrilled by it. I'm sure the models are nicely done, but the interest in the models is lack luster as far as I can tell.
If it fills a nostalgic niche for you, then all the better!
