Hi All,

I'm new to Trainz sim and I was wondering how, on the ECML (York to Kings Cross) route, they display the distance to the next signal and aspect plus the next speed limit and distance. Is this done by adding a rule or is it more complicated than that.

Yes, It's done by adding a session rule: Display Custom HUD (Heads Up Display).

My next question following on from that, is how do you create a "CUSTOM HUD"? The ECML route is the only one i've seen with the state of the next signal and distance, the next speed limit and distance, the gradient and the trip distance.

The 'Custom HUD' is listed in your CMP as 'miscellaneous'. Do a search using "Name" of "Custom HUD" and you should find it. Just include it in every route/session you wish to see it.

Then, there is a 'rule' that you include to display it.
