The passenger and freight cars behind the engines have sounds just like you would hear in real life. I have recorded my own sounds, but what do you do next? I'm not an expert in config's but I have tried to make an engine sound ( with up 1 - 2.wmv, down 8 - 7.wmv etc.) as being the sounds of the passenger and freight cars just like in the video. I added it to the carriage config but it didn't work and obviously I am doing something wrong because as I said, not an expert in config's. Can anyone help me out?

Good Evening CityRailTrainspotter
For rolling stock, you'll want to look at the 'tracksound' system, rather than the 'enginesound'. See here for info on setting up the tracksound asset: http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php5/KIND_Tracksound

Note, the tracksound gets attached to the 'bogie' rather than the carriage.

I would, however, recommend looking at some existing assets to see how it all fits together.

My Victorian Railways American Saloon carriages are configured with 'tracksound' assets attached to the bogies. E.g. download "VR AB class American Saloon pass car - 1" (kuid:103475:10026) from the DLS. Then take a look at the 'bogie' dependency for how the tracksound is configured in the bogie. Also take a look at the 'tracksound' dependency in the bogie.

I have considered that, but My Route changes track types in certain areas which means I have to add the sound to all my railway tracks in my route. And when a train speeds up, the sound would just play and it would sound unrealistic. So there is no possible way to add the sound to the carriage? Thanks Zec.
