Add Random Scenery Command

TRS19 had a "Add Random Scenery" function. I cannot find the equivalent in TRS22. I know how to use the scrape book, but this does not seem to replace the add scenery function because in this function you could select and rectangular area of any size and add scenery (trees) in this area on a random basis from a library (scrapbook) of saved items.

In TRS22 I don't see any equivalent function. Maybe I am just missing it.

Hi Paul, go to Surveyor classic (S1) not S2
its there in one of the top menu's near bulk asset replace

I see where to find it in S1. The question is whether there is an equivalent in S2.

This raises the bigger question of whether S1 will remain a feature in future versions, or will it be dropped and only S2 be available?

I don't see Surveyor Classic going away for many years. There is nothing to be gained in removing it until every version has S2.0 as a standard feature. The elephant in the room is at what point does N3V abandon the very limiting grid system for a more flexible way of doing terrain.

Yep, Classic will be retained for a while yet (at least until all the features are available in S20).

The terrain update we have planned is a [very] big task and also breaks compatibility to some degree (primarily to a change in the way texturing will be handled), therefore not to be taken lightly.
