Active industries

Hello I have a few questions.
1). How do you add the yellow markers on the track and the appropriate signs that are needed to get a industry to work?
2.) How do you configure a industry to supply a product like say load or unload trailers?
Thanks in advance:confused:

There are essentially 2 ways to load/unload. Either an interactive industry such as a Cattle Feedlot, Power Station etc. or a load/unloader. The Best of the later is probably the new multi loader which can virtually load/ unload anything. Loaders are a short section of straight track found in the buildings section. 2010 has the latest (un) loaders which are excellent. They are easy to set up unlike the new multi loader. The yellow marks in the track are simply there to allow you to position your wagons correctly for loading/ unloading.
3 yellow marks in a row indicate is a single wagon (un)loader. Two yellow marks indicates that after the train has been stationary over them for a set period of time, which can be set by you, the whole train will (un)load one wagon at a time. That makes your life easy, lol. To set up a (un)loader simply click on it to open the window which can be difficult at times if adjacent to or even inside a building. One final point the wagon must be configured to carry that commodity for it to work.
And as I am typing this at work signalling real trains I had better go!

Thanks for the information but can you be more specific?
I would think you have to be in surveyor mode first then click on the track tab?
But I do not see what you are talking about. I have TS2010 but it is not patched as I could never get the patches to work correctly.
That is a rather sore subject between myself and Auran.

If you're using Multiple Industry tracks such as:
Multiple Industry basic,<kuid:-3:10165>
Multiple Industry New,<kuid:-19:10165>
Multi Ind str l= 10m EN,<kuid2:102376:63031:2>
Multi Ind str l= 20m EN,<kuid2:102376:63032:2>

The here is a MIN tutorial at: http://members.westnet.com.au/nightcrawler/trainz/index.htm

The signs and yellow markers are:
Sign Beacons ATC QR 2,<kuid:46415:28100>
Sign Beacons ATC QR 3,<kuid:46415:28105>

If you are using LARS (Logistics and Resource System) or ProtoLARS (ProtoTypical LARS) then check out the LARS and ProtoLARS tutorial at http://www.worldoftrainz.com/Pages/Tutorials_TRS2004/LARS-ProtoLARS-TutTRS.htm
