A Speed Question?

I am using tr2004 and tr2006. In a session i use the speed boards on all tracks. I find that after say 3 hours into that session at speeds of 70mph 60 mph 0r 50 mph , on some of the tracks the trains start to go at only half speed while on the remainding tracks the trains still go at the desired speeds. I am using signals on all the tracks and the trains are all AI trains. Does anyone know why this is happening.

You may not have placed them (the speed boards) properly.

AFAIK, The default speed for trains in TRS is 40mph. That's the speed they are going to?

Half posted speed normally indicates that a train is running on track protected by a yellow signal. Might be that after a while your traffic gets spaced out between the sigs so that everything is always running at yellow signal speed....
