A question for route makers

"Some of us come from a model railway background"

;) Most of us, Sniper, most of us. ;)

Some want more amd more... and disguise their nothing-to-object-to origin with sim on sim on sim clothes...

Anyway, you know,... :hehe:

There's not only one Trainz, there's a different train for everyone.

The senior proverbial side of Alberte

Trainz has the ability to create excellent scenery, also it was advertised at one time able to run ships and boats on it, so obviously it depends on how you wish to use Trainz. I used it for canals, horse drawn barges, and sailing ships ( mainly my own content), and docks set in age of decades ago before the age of trains, so scenery can be well away from train tracks if you so wish. So there are no hard and fast rules, simply use it whichever way suits your interests, cab driving, train roof driving or driving barges through canal tunnels (train tunnels plus water). Former Trainz user, but now a Blender Game Engine User. No paragraphs as disabled Java Script. B

Of course; if you come from a 'Garden Model Railroad' background you're pretty forced to model to the horizon...:hehe:
