A nasty Save bug,? I'm not sure...

Okay...

How do I explain this...

I was doing some mega-merging in TS12 last night. I took some DEMs from Fishlipsatwork and merged them into my route. I did the merging I wanted and then hit ESC which brought me back to the Route menu without being prompted to save the changes! I'm confused so I'd like someone else to check this. I had been interrupted numerous times while trying to do this, so I might be confused more than stumbling on a bug.

merge not working under normal conditions

John last year lost a fair part of my route just a bunch of basemaps just empty in 2011 and to recover I thought noproblem just cut out the exact portion of the route missing from an earlier safe and merg them yeahhhhhh of into the woods crashing trees like a logging competition.
I remember how I made it work doing just the opposite of what i wanted to merge which was cutting out the fairly small portion of what was new and merged that into the older (few days) healthy looking one. Took 3 days to figure out ways and painstaking cutting baseboards to make to pieces to glue together. Merge is not working and not looked after by N3V for sure so is the spline and texture bug which resets unforgiven rotation size and blend of portions of your route at random times. Asked N3V is like asking my mother for help at least she is honest and answers quick to say "hell i don't know this stuff, why you ask me and I laugh loud for the funny outcome which is better than the frozen distant echo from the N3V helpdesk send me your route and we look into it and or we never experienced things like that can you describe after describing:hehe::hehe:
Anyway I have my wayus to make things work and not ask anymore for help solutions just work around where I can and move on.
For sure I not share my experience with them anymore and keep things to myself for the better of me.

hope this helps

Roy;)

Well Roy, you've answered my question. This is just another fine merging issue with no response from the Brew Crew.

At least your mum, and mine too are honest. Mine would say the same thing rather than give me and you the deaf ear.
