A little more portal help

I finely got a train to go in one portal and out another. But the way I under stand it ,to help manage a portal I can use Portal Manager or Quick Portal Manager V2 or V3. Portal Manager is downloaded but I can't find it in the game. And I downloaded Quick Portal Manager V2 and V3 but there is 3 missing dependencies <kuid:401543:1181><kuid:401543:1182><kuid:401543:1183> ,any ideas where to get them? Also I set up the train to run on AI through the portal but when the train came out of the portal it stopped and the driver and all the rest of the commands disappeared. Any suggestions? thanks funnnyfarm

In setting up portal 1 you need to set train to return after xx minutes, then you will get an option from alternate (or similar) portal. Whatever you have named portal 2 do it exactly the same in the box. I think the writing stays dim if you don't get the wording correct, not 100% sure on that.

Re the missing kuids, r/click on the asset in cm and select download. It should pull them in. Might also help with the lost commands.

I downloaded Quick Portal Manager v3 and got these missing kuid's:
Unknown Location: <kuid2:61392:7001:7>
Unknown Location: <kuid2:61392:7002:7>
Unknown Location: <kuid2:61392:7004:7>
Unknown Location: <kuid2:61392:7005:7>
Googled and it led me to a russian site. Can't register, because translate runs me right back to the first screen....aarrrghgh

Those assets are all at level 12 now, not 7 The portal managers are all rules that you must add to the session. Use only one manager as they interfere with each other.

You can get along without the managers by accessing the portal properties screen as Fran1 says.

I tried what fran1 said ,to download the assets. But I can't find a way to get to download when the asset has a question mark. I still need <kuid:401543:1185><kuid2:61392:7004:7><kuid2:61392:7002:7>. I tried google but I got the russian site also and got the run around. thanks funnnyfarm

Hi Funnyfarm.

All my assets ( pguy 61392 ) should be available in version 12 on DLS. If you still have problems downloading them from DLS you can also get them from my personal web site file server at http://trainz.guynet.org . i suggest you use the latest version 12 as it fixes a few bugs in the previous versions.
