Those (like myself) who spent decades using Surveyor Classic will have or did have a long and steep learning curve in the switch to Surveyor 2.0 but that climb was well worth it.I do disagree that Surveyor 2.0 has a difficult learning curve. It may be for those that only ever used Surveyor Classic (aka S10), but for me it was not hard.
I had the same issues when MS introduced the Ribbon into their Office products, and GIMP made changes to its user interface, the list goes on. The lesson here is that when you first learn a skill, that learning becomes "fixed" and any changes will bring chaos. If/when Surveyor 3.0 is released those of us who started Trainz using Surveyor 2.0 will/may experience the same dislocation.
