Well, next time try to get better shots of those engines. And also, If you do go there again, could you get a shot of the other end of the cab-forward, you know, the smokebox door, etc that usually is in front of the engines. That is a nice model of the Jupiter! Reminds me of a minature diorama of the Gold Spike Ceremony I once saw at the Smithsonian! Who did that Jupiter Model?
 
I can't see it being retrofitted to a double decker. Maybe reusing the turn table and anchor abutments with a new double deck swing span but not retrofitting an existing, active rail bridge to accommodate auto traffic over the rail line.

Springtransit...I don't know who made the Jupiter model but, I agree, its very nice.

Next time we are up that way, Bill, I'll give you a hollar before we go. Maybe we can meet. I think they were just testing the bridge because there was no sign of a boat...probably a routine.
