I just spent the last 45 minutes skimming through the pictures/messages. All the word and descriptions have been uttered. As our politicians say - I associate myself with those remarks.

I thought I had the best route with Eastern Kentucky using TS10/compatibility. Now this comes along and I am again waiting for what should prove to be the next best route in Trainz xxxx.

The freelance approach is so much better for the reasons mentioned before. Long prototypical routes seem to become excellent tracks and DEM but the artistry needed for reality is lacking. What you did in EK3 took much more patience than I would have had. Now we see a route that exposes the Western World to the drama and romance of Russia with extremely detailed assets in a composite design that only an artist could have done. Instead of bland cities we see the countryside from an era where only the hardworking people succeed. We can get a strong sense of the era because of the detail and artistry protrayed by the assets and the route itself. THANKS
 
I´m new here and in the world of Trainz, but i have to add my congratulations to you and all involved in this route. It´s a gem!!! Beautiful!
Only a real artist can do this.

Please, if you ever release it payware or freeware to the public, please let us know here in this topic. :clap:
 
@ flviossa: Thank you! The route will be freeware and is probably not more than a couple of months away. The release will certainly be announced here :)

@RED_SHARK: You cannot imagine how much I appreciate your contributions! I wish I had known more about the Russian narrow gauge before I started this project, I would definitely have done a prototype route not freelance. But who knows what the future might hold! Of all your links though I have to say that this picture...



... sums up to me everything that I'd like to incorporate into a Trainz route. I especially love that overlapping dual gauge! Now where can I work that into my route....

If you start to make a new route, I can help you gather information pictures, diagrams stations. So you do not hampered in finding the language barrier. Also help you find the objects to the route.

Also choose the direction of the narrow-gauge railway. To make it all on the most realistic and similar to the terrain Russia or Ukraine, Belarus, where despite choose to build a narrow-gauge railroad.

Various types of narrow-gauge railways: Carriage Peat, Carriage Wood, Carriage, Factory, Cargo - Passenger.

I would like that very much! There remains first though to finish the freelance route, I think two or three more months. Then there are revisions needed for another route of mine. Maybe then we can work together on a prototype Russian NG route...

I showed what the options are different narrow-gauge railway. Narrow Gauge come in a variety of direction . Each direction has its own infrastructure, machinery, locomotives and wagons. I think the information is of such a plan would be useful :)
