750mm Freelance NG Module

@ Stan - OK, that's one station named LOL

@ Red_Shark - once again thanks for the links!

@EMD... - Thanks for that. I searched '750' and '30' but never thought about 2ft6!

Andy :)

Red Shark - fantastic series of photos, great stuff, amazing how close it is to Dermmy's module.

What would the normal speed be for passenger and freight trains on the Sinyachikha line?

Cheers

JWhen I work on the route I want Colin Young's house to look like Colin Young's house, I want my house to look like my house. And the same for every other house along the line. If it doesn't it just looks wrong. I get hung up on every single detail right down to which tree goes where.

I know exactly what you mean, I have tried to do the Glen Waverley Line, which I catch to school everyday, about a dozen times! And I just can not do it, so I never get past Jordanville, the 4th station there:hehe:

I prefer to get a DEM and make a fictional line, tracks where tracks go, roads where roads go, rivers where rivers go and everything, but, a town can go where I want it, and it is more enjoyable to build, actually, for me anyway

I apologize for dragging this thread off-course,

Jamie

No apology necessary! I love the freedom I get on a freelance route - I can put what I want where I want. I could really get into this! Heck, I can even take back-lit screenshots which I normally really hate with a passion. I think this one kinda works though...

I am seriously in lust with these Russian items. Managed to get everything working - the bogies were missing a tracksound, 856363:93017 which was finally resolved through Google and a Swedish fansite to:
http://uzd-life.ucoz.ru/load/7-1-0-24
The tracksound is embedded in the cdp for the dump cars.

If I wasn't heading to Sydney tomorrow I'd be reskinning and working on regauging Paul Hobbs' Drewry shunter. This is the beta 3ft gauge version with outside cranks.

Long ago, Pizias made a U10B that I reskinned and rebogied to NZR 3ft6in gauge. The U6Bs and U10Bs were common on 3ft and 2ft gauge, so it'll be a monty to do a version for 750mm.

I think these two would be a worthy thank-you to our Russian friends... :)

I know exactly what you mean! I love the stuff, and I'm not sure why! Its not eye-popping ten million poly stuff, and a lot of it is photoskinned (which I normally dislike intensely) but - I dunno - it's just damned good Trainz content, full of individual character and charm. Lovely stuff. In fact I am seriously thinking about a proto route, Red_Sharks photo collection really has me thinking...

Don't go there Andy...

LOL

That building has been compiled from more single units (Sura's FMA small rural factory x 7) + (Vendel's FMA industry building x at least 7). :)
