Hi guys.
There are not many steam locomotives to be seen in this beautiful route and all the quality screenies - I think I only see one .
I am wondering why , just out of interest and I think steam would fit in perfectly between the cool diesels too.

Red Shark will probably give a definitive answer, but it seems to be a working railway, not a preserved one, so one would expect it to use modern, efficient diesels.

Hi Red Shark, I asked why there are no steam loco's in this route, I understand that only diesels are used now , just interested to know whether steam was ever used in the past and what they looked like - if so.
