Hi Andy.
How were the tests? I'm not a fan of narrow gauge but I will take out of your hands even cyanide. Do not skimp on information.

P.S. God, I soon begin to write with boiling water.

Hi Pofig - the route is in testing. It is held up by session content - finding it all again is hard!

Andy :)

Andy, you come up with their own problems. The entire Russian content you can pack the archive and to fill in for file sharing or post on its website. In Russia it is common practice. You are trying to post archive for the route and a session, rather than individual supplements. Users you just say thank you. It's fast and efficiently.

Hi Pofig

One cdp from checkrail is exactly my plan for the Russian assets for the route. As you say, it is quicker and easier for everyone.

Session content however goes way over 200Mb just for the narrow gauge content, and even more for the broad gauge stuff. I do not have the bandwidth for many downloads that big, so it must be links to third party sites...

Andy :)

Nice job. I'm waiting for your 750mm route. I have a cople of thing to test on it as soon as the route is ready.
Thank you for the nice work, Andy

OK - I will put my head on the block and commit to having the route out with a fairly complex session by mid-November, possibly sooner...

Andy ;)

Not long Pofig! Progress is being made!

Some shots from the final (I hope!) test run of the session...

A passenger train leaves the port city of Kanshino (which is now the official name of the route)...

...pauses at the branch terminus of Rostokino before reversing and heading on to...

...the end of its run at the inland industrial city of Krivusha.

I have uploaded a new page at checkrail.com. Although the route itself is not yet available folks might like to start getting content. There are a couple of large downloads (80Mb+) and if we can spread the load a bit it will be easier on my bandwidth come release day. Content is avaiable here.

Andy :)

Wow Andy,

Even just to create and show your masterpiece is an amazing achievement. To have it actually going to be public released is monumental.

This is one route I feel everyone should download and enjoy, Every one of your routes are simply stunning. You have a real passion for what you do and all of us are very thankful for your public releases. I so can not wait to see this route myself.

Thanks for sharing (soon) your route and giving us all the content locations which in itself is very time consuming.

Cheers

Trent

Thanks Trent!

Mini-Map shot of the completed route, appologies for not killing the trackmarks before the shot. You can squeeze a lot into 1.3 x 1.3 miles (2.16 x 2.16 km). Click for a larger image...
