This happened after I did an extended data base repair due to a new route crashing Trainz. Prior to this, I have had zero updates for months. CMP must have figured out that all this content was obsolete, cause when I did the search as you suggested, all the content was in fact needing updates.
Yup. Same one here. The tree cannot be updated because the original is locked by the author. You can see this by viewing the config file (right click on the asset and choose view config at the bottom).
It's like removing Everyone group read access from the root of a hard drive even though the administrator still has full access to it. Even the administrator is part of Everyone group, and needs to view the drive contents.
I'm new to Trainz too.. I found out quickly depending on the in game content updater isn't the best idea. Go to content manager, click on the "installed" tab, in the search box click [+] then in the drop down that has "name", change it to "Out of date" and "true" in the next box.. Hit apply.. Soon as the results come up highlight all the items, right click and download.. That *should* clear them up and leave you with just the 1 Ultratreez which as you can read above can't be updated.
Edit: As the person above me who replied while I was writing also said.. They may not update either.. Mine took a few tries and finally cleared up a couple days later..
