I've decided to talk about a type of non-standard length container. Sea-Land Service started with the 35' container starting in 1956. Their liveries were first the older Billboard type scheme with the older front logo.
Next were the Common Scheme for these containers with the Modern Sea-Land Logo.
35'ft Container with Modern Logo
These Containers and the special chassis they rode on are very rare. They lasted into the early to mid-1980's. Some still survive today but most of these are used for storage but there are 2 on a old Trailer train flatcar on display at the Roanoke Transportation Museum. I know these rare containers would make a very good addition to trainz.
