24Hr. Impression

I've Been at 2010 for 24Hr. or so and it is an interesting version of Trainz. It is an up scaled version of 2009 with alot more content and things to choose from as some people have found out or soon will,but you must click on the yellow star to see everything and remove the 5 star rating to get everything 2010 has to offer as my fellow Trainzers have told me. Now why this and that is hid and this and that has to be turned on or off is a bit strange,but I bet this was Aurans christmas surprise to us. lol. There is a mountain type loco/tender,older rolling stock has more realistic wheels now,different signals and different industries than before as well as past stuff from earlier Trainz as well.
True 2009 is good but could 2010EE turn out to be even better? How long will a person stay with 2010 or go back to some other version is hard to say. I think each Trainz version has to grow on you to really enjoy it. Would I recommend 2010 to a buyer,shure. It's a good game. If I had one wish for the next Trainz version it would be truly realistic train sounds and cab interiors. To truly make a train game worth it's salt you have to have realism in the trains themselves. Back to another 24Hrs with 2010 to see what else I can find and open up. Enjoy your 2010 as much as alot of us are. Happy Trainz and A Merry Christmas to one and all in Trainz land.

Things have been named differently than in past Trainz,so you have to look around for them,such as (sidewalk) it is under spline mode and is called CR-FP 5m-02. True 2009 has much more to choose from,but 2010 is a good starting point for those who want to get started in the world of Trainz. Click on the little yellow favourites star, I think you will find TS2010 has much more content than any other version, it just does not show up by default. Remove the 5 star rating filter and you will also see a lot more.

Still At It

After getting 2010 this past Sat. I'm still building a layout and this may be the best Trainz version yet. Need to learn your way around it that's for sure.
Back to 2010.....Enjoy.
