2010 Route Building Competition

Boarded October 2001
Competitors: Please do not post images in this thread.

The unofficial 2010 Route Building Competition is under way. We have 17 competitors and they're all working franticly to build a prize winning route themed around a busy sea, river or lakeside port. Judging by the quality of the screenshots for week one, the standards are exceptionally high.

For reasons many of you won't want to understand, we have asked competitors not to submit their weekly progress shots in this forum.

The best and only explanation I'm prepared to offer, is that there is no possible way the screenshots can be organised in an orderly fashion as the competition progresses.

Therefore we would ask you all to click any of the links below and support the competitors by viewing their work as they proceed.

As the competition progresses, you can visit any competitor's gallery and look at his, her, or all screenshots in an orderly fashion starting from week one.

On behalf of the Competitors, Judges and Committee,

Thanks for your understanding and support.

P.S. Please leave this thread for the Competitors to post their links. Trolls will be reported instantly.

Sorry John, but, was this contest open to anybody, as for some of us, our boxed copies of TS2010 haven't even been received yet, so, this will automatically eliminate some from the competition. Does it have to start before Christmas ????

I personally won't be entering, but, some others might have had an inkling, when they had mastered the finer points of CMP2.....:hehe:

The competition is for any version of Trainz. The name of the competition shows the date of it.

James is correct. I also think it would be wiser to use an older version of Trainz if possible. TS 2010 seems to have a bit of a steep learning curve, especially if you want to play with Layers and other stuff.

Some people have stated that they'll be using TS 2010, but I think they all know that they're welcome to change their minds on that one.
