2004 To 2006

YES ... You can ask me ... I love 04, 06

Skype: cascaderailroad

Actually you save your 04 route as a CDP ... and import the 04 CDP, into the 06 CMP (and wikewise in 09,10,12).

As in Alaska.... if you smell a skunk ... there are no skunks in Alaska ... it's probably a BBGB (aka: a Big Big Grizzle Bear, and you better high tail it outa' there) !

And there are no "Snow Snakes" in Alaska ... except on the glacier.

G'day John1001,
To transfer a route from 04 to 06 you first need to know the kuid of the route. Once you have this information you open your 2006 and then go to CMP (Content Manager Plus) and import this kuid into 2006 by navigating your way into the folder in 2004 where it is stored, select it and import. It should then be seen in your recent section of CMP and you then will probably have to commit it before it becomes available. Don't be surprised if you then need to also import assets that are not present in 06 but are also stored in the same area as the route file and transferred the same way. It could be tedious or it could be easy, depends on how many of the assets you need to transfer.
Hope this helps and feel free to ask for further information as needed.
Cheers
Russell.
