Ah, this thread makes me feel younger... :hehe:
Just to clarify:
1. The file located at
/cache/world_dispatcher_cache.chump (

that's its complete name) needs to be removed manually when:
- You install a new asset folder in the world/dispatcher/downloads folder
2. When you install a .cdp by clicking on them, no need to do the previous action since next time you open your beloved TRS2004
world_dispatcher_cache.chump will be regenerated -BTW, the function of this file is recalling TRs2004 which assets you have installed in-). Just in case this automatic system fails -i.e. you can't see the new cdp installed in-game- you better go and do point 1. Aaaah. I like TRS204 because it's human, it fails from time to time. :hehe:
3. If you install an asset folder in the
world/custom folder, no need to do point 1, since good old TRS2004 recognises this folder automatically. This folder was usually used by creators to test their 'babies' so no need to re-chump all the time.
Aaaah, my pleasure to answer on this thread on the General track of these forums after such a long time with CM procedures... going manually for a while. :hehe:
The manual (please don't get me wrong :hehe

Side notes:
- CM at TRs1004 was really a joke, put there to fill a hole in the TRS2004 low-Mb contents. :hehe: Some kind of database compiled by a passer-by who was in hurry to the loo at the old Auran headquarters.
- Good old Terry Frank's TrainzObjectz was a holy gift rained from the sky. But it took a whole TV series season to load. At its time it was an essential like PEV's Tools currently.
- Even though my friend Henkie Plaggemars -which I miss a lot over here- did a great job with the original CMPlus, at first it was a bit nightmarish until the glorious TRS2006 SP1. After that, CMP went tamed and docile.
- The sequels are well-known still and no mater of this thread.
