Well, FINALLY I have ordered full box superdeal 2012!
I have been wanting this for sooo long and the TIN:udrool:.. don't even get me started on the tin! *faints

I didn't know who NV3 was. So I haven't bought since 06. I found out all I needed to know via the new live chat window thingy through superlative help which resulted in an instant hoovering of my wallet! :P

Even at the current price for the superdeal I am stoked! Woo Woo! *blows whistle.

My all time fave sim and still Aussie owned. TrainZ I have forsaken you:(
BUT I'm BACK!:mop: drool mop in hand. The first community I ever had anything to do with and wow I am chuffed! I would like to pass on my heartfelt sympathy to the loved ones of those who are not TrainZing with us anymore.
All I can say is my tin isnt going to get anywhere NEAR going into my mailbox:hehe: CheerZ! everyone!

And to think, I thought you meant that YOU had a 10th year anniversary of being sentenced, um ur sorry married :hehe:

TIN???

I hope you're not setting yourself up for a soul crushing disappointment! The tin box is nice and all that, but, um, you're really excited!

@Red Rattler: Married? ;o nooo way! I like toys and lots of them. I couldn't have everything I wanted if I were married I don't think, nor have the fun and travel I have been lucky enough to do. *Tin as in the metal box :-)

@Euphod: Yes I am keen as mustard! I did fire up 06 on this quad a little while ago, but I am very interested to see how 10th Anniversary runs on this i5 before it morphs into an i7.

Well here's wishing you all the good luck hope you get a golden ticket:D

Thank you! Wouldn't it be simply outrageous to get a golden ticket.:o
My order has just been approved in my user records and shipped it says! WooT!

Looks up @Mrscsi's sig... TWENTY FOUR GIG of ram? Whoah! I do have a friend who is a game developer and has 3 i7's slaved with 20gig of ram.
My first ever hard drives were external 10,000rpm scsi's, (50 pin amphenol connectors) of 2.5gb capacity which cost 2,600 AUD each in 1996/8 i think it was :)
Specifically purchased for audio hard disk recording. Akai DR8. They still work.

Funny you mention audio hard disk recording, that's really how I got the nickname:D

Once upon a time I had 3-42U racks loaded with drive arrays all running 10,000 RPM SCSI's along with three Quad servers (4 Pentiums) each with three 4 in and 4 out Pro audio cards for a total of 36 tracks all-digital:D

As for the current RAM it was cheap :-) it's not like it's a triple channel.

Well that is outrageous! and very funny indeed thank you.
What I would love to do, (even though its a complete waste of time and technically a moot point these days), is to hook up the old DR8 to my current computer lol! Just for old times sake you know :)
The most trouble I ever had with that setup was backing up multitrack data to Digital Audio Tape - Tascam DA 20 or a stand alone writeable cd recorder - Tascam CDRW 5000.
The whole purpose of the above exercise would be to re master these ancient works :) which was me going absolutely ballistic on guitar/s playing weird but intruiging variations of traditional irish/american
fiddle tunes and aussie bush music.
Some of it is absolutely amazing and the soloing draws influences from Zeppelin/Hendrix/Satriani etc etc! :O and now I build my own pc's 8^)
Maybe I can release these works pothsumously LMAoooooo! jks.:hehe:

WooT! There's 2010 Engineers Edition in my profile! Yay!

In yet another addition to this post and upon reflection, I think TrainZ & this community influenced me heavily in my endeavours to become more computer literate and to learn more about them. My audio recording system was entirely stand alone waaay back then.
