Wow! As detailed as the 1-board layout(s) look, I definitely wouldn't get "board" running trains on them all day. (Sorry. Just had to get it out of my system!):D :p

Overall they are nicely done. I notice the townspeople don't have to cross the tracks very often, that's a plus!:p Were it me, I would add a wee bit more detail around the houses, such as fences, play equipment, pools, dogs, grill, patio furniture...you know. Maybe some mail boxes along the curb. Other than that, they look good.

I agree

Hi Kon --

I certainly agree that one baseboard layouts can be fun.

This is one that I uploaded to the DLS - "IntenCity":

Amazing how much detail you can do in one base board. Im thinking of doing a route in the future that will have atleast 25 or more baseboards. Of course, That is still a little ways off as today just marks my 2 weeks of having Trainz.

No matter what Kon, You did a very nice job on the 1 board layout. BTW, I was wondering where you got those trees as I might be interested in doing a 1 or 2 board layout myself just to test my route building skills before I try to take on a bigger route.

hi all,
this is great when i had a model trains set you were restricted to the space you had
what i've seen might have a muck around see what i come up with

cheers,

Very nice routes. One thing: you might want to add your size warning to the title and not in the first post. Even with my DSL connection the thread took quite a while to load.

I have always had a thing about 1 baseboard routes, simple, quick intresting to operate, and can have very good detail due to the small area to model.

I looking at the routes last night and had the same taught about adding some detail in certain areas. I guess its cause i normally only worry where the trains run close by.

Thanks all Feel free to post with what you come up with on your own attempt.
