06 vs. 09

Ah, never thought of that?

But doesnt that mean i would have to download each cdp seperatly?

I can remember it took me about 45 mins to get one loco to work

it was a while ago, so cant remember exactly why i did this but i only needed to do it once, then CMP seemed to find what it was looking for

With TRS 2009 will it be possible to re-install it after changing computers?

I had 2006 and then after re-installing it on my new laptop I was unable to download content which made it all but useless.

Is this going to be the same with 2009 or will there be a way to make it more portable?

This seems to have got lost with all of the other nonsense which was going on earlier, is this stuation any different in TRS09 or if I change my computer after registering TRS09 on this one will I still be unable to download content?

Downloading is dependent on your registering you serial number with Auran. After that it is just a matter of using your password and Auran userid.

Go to profile top left above and you can see which versions you have registered. You should be able to download from the DLS in these versions. Verify by using ftp first. Once that is established then its just a matter of configuring CMP. It does not depend on which computer you have. I've reinstalled the operating system on mine following a hard drive failure and it still chuggs along quite nicely on a new hard drive so nothing was carried over from the old installation.
