    GWR 72XX 2-8-2T

Thank you both for getting back to me. It's much as I thought and I share your views. As I've no reskinning skills I think I may have a word with some more talented contacts. regards John

    GWR 72XX 2-8-2T

Content Manager lists the GWR livery versions K 2:116296:72172:1 / 2 - (Skipper 1945) as now being Obsolete. Unfortunately, while the same loco is still available in a very presentable BR livery - (K 2:116296:72172:5), I'm looking for the 1920/30's GWR livery versions for a WIP. Does...

A little help with the surveyor

I recently made the move to Trainz 22 PE Build 129335, principally to explore the supposed(?) advantages of Surveyor 2.0 Accepting the inevitable learning curve, I have cloned an HD copy of a WIP and have been using Surveyor 2.0 to fine tune the existing terrain, particularly track cuttings...

A Sad End to an Epic Run for Me with Trainz.

Plea accepted - case closed. However, I still believe that the sentiment expressed in the last paragraph of John Citron’s post #8 applies.

A Sad End to an Epic Run for Me with Trainz.

Yes WSR and pware, I can agree with both your viewpoints, but I wasn’t the individual making the claim “that the spline issue was easily resolved”.

A Sad End to an Epic Run for Me with Trainz.

OK, so the spline issue is easily resolved. If it was so simple why was the update sent out without being checked for such easily identified errors and having been identified, and so easily rectified, why have the powers that be not corrected their error?

    Trainz Update Announcement (SP5)

I think I shall delay loading this update(?) until such time as you brave knowledgable folks have managed to get the dust to settle. regards John

    Broken Turntables TRS22

Thank you Ken for your 16/11/22 posting. I had seen others but not this. Interesting that Malc had identified the same problem because it is one of his assets that I'd been using and to the best of my knowledge this specific problem has only surfaced in the last fortnight. Very odd. John

    Broken Turntables TRS22

    1. Seems my theory doesn't hold true for all routes. Have one modified WIP where the reinstalled turntable is still minus tracks. Back to the drawing board. 2. Further testing reveals that regardless of my "Save as" theory - post #11 (which enabled me to replace/reload CL 62ft...

    Broken Turntables TRS22

I think I may have solved my problem. Anticipating the worst and me having to delete and then reload most of my routes including WIPs, in preparation for that overhauI I opened each route (not its default file) in Surveyor Mode and then did a "Save as" using the original asset file name but...

    Broken Turntables TRS22

I'm using standard TRS 22 build 126273. Turntables are now malfunctioning on two WIP's. Removing the existing and installing new results in the same asset being placed BUT minus all its track and connecting stubs! The same problem is evident with three different assets. Content Manager...

A journey from Berchtesgaden Hbf to Freilassing.

Again, thank you for sharing this video John. I did this same journey through to Frielassing and on to Salzburg way back in 1997 while on holiday in that region. There are/were a number of fabulous lines that radiated south from Munich down to the Austrian and Swiss borders. Brings back many...

    Route selection problem

Phil...... Yes, it was the mouse BUT................................... can't remember doing it but I had somehow reset the mouse scrolling setting from "multiple lines at a time" down to "single line at a time". Makes a world of difference. All is now well. Many thanks John

    Route selection problem

Am running TRS22 Build 119451. I normally open the TRS22 programme, then "Select Driver/Surveyor" and then, rotate the wheel on Logitech G402 mouse, to scroll to and fro through the 20 plus routes I have operating on my system to select route required. TODAY operating the mouse wheel...
