Is there a way to set speed limit by train priority? I had to install 10mph speed limits at the entrance to passengers stations because the passenger trains (Priority 2) kept overshooting or bypassing the stations after installing Trains+ build 123794. However, I would like freight trains...
Is there a way to change loco running numbers on an AI train via a driver command within a session? I have a passenger train that runs north as train # 500, then reverses the path south as train #501. I would like to have the train change numbers at each end of the route.
I just installed AES_Westover-Power_Plant <kuid2:210518:19721:1> on the route I'm working on. It seems the only way to get an AI train to find it is via the NAVIGATE TO command. I typically use either CALL AT or LOAD AT commands, but this industry doesn't show up on the list for either of those...
Hi Dave - I tried LM3D Unload and it didn't fare any better for me than the old load/unload commands did. "Load at" was the only command that would get me some benefit. Trains now stop with the power just past the end of the station track and they start right back up again when they're supposed...
UPDATE: Partial success......I tried all of the suggestions in the thread with no success. I switched commands for passenger trains to "Load at." I had been using "Call At" or "Navigate to Station v2," which, up until now had worked fine. The trains still aren't opening doors or...
I recently upgraded to Trainz+ build 123794. For passenger stations I'm using STATION BASIC 2:30501:22005:5 and a bunch of the Amtrak Station versions 2:101046:xxxxxxxx:x.
On a new route, passenger trains are exhibiting a lot of weird behavior:
1. AI trains stopping short of the station. I...
Found the problem and it was my error. I had difficulty updating from an old TRS22 build, so just did a clean install of Trainz Plus. Then, promptly forgot to add the Transdem V7 cdp file to Trainz. Problem solved.
Yes - Ground Texture from Raster Map, Show Route and Show UTM Grid are all checked on the export page. I just did a Transdem map last week on basic TRS22, had no problems and none of my transdem settings have changed.
I just updated from TRS22 to Trainz+. When I was running TRS22, Transdem maps would load routes and underlying map info. When I try it in Trainz+, I get the terrain, but it's just a sea of green grass texture (no route or underlying map data showing). I saw a post from early 2023 about this, but...
Also, maybe I'm suffering from faulty logic, but it seems to me that if I haven't updated the build, haven't changed anything, haven't added anything and I get a bug, it's not a problem with the build.
An update: Got a response back from Auran. They want me to upgrade from my current build 117655. Every time I've tried to update, I get a "no updates currently available." Also, I've seen comments that the latest update may be buggy. What's the last known good build # for Windows PC?
Thanks, JCitron. I took a look at the bug report and the format really doesn't lend itself to these problems because there's not a specific, traceable sequence of events that produces the problem.
