Migrating from trainz2006 to 2010 and to a new machine. When I import my editied files through Content Manager, the config.txt files are all converted to config.chump files and the asset becomes unusable. What am I doing wrong?

I've downloaded Ben Neal's 2-10-0 to Trainz 2010. After some tweaking with help from this forum, I have one sitting prettily on the track. Unfortunately, all it does is sit. I can't make it move. I get no warnings or missing dependencies in CCP.

When I try to download from the station, I get a message "unable to download, the server appears to be full, please try again later..." Several tries over several days, no luck. What to do?

ignorant question from a newbie--if I save a created route in surveyor and then exit Trainz2006, I cannot find it again on re-entry. Where'd it go? (More accurately, what am I doing wrong?
