Must be a problem on my end, then. They've been broken since I installed my first JR loco years ago on T:ANE. It turns out that they haven't been working for THAT long.
The other day, I was going to install a custom traction motor sound to my JR locos when I found out they actually already have traction motor sounds. I posted this yesterday on the TRS22 forum page, but I guess the issue is just unheard of. The problem is with the Locomotive Traction Motor Sound...
Yes, I am aware. I was talking about the sound files that were corrupted in the TRS22 built-in files. I saw that they were corrupted in 22, so I installed them to T:ANE to see if a fresh copy of them would behave normally, but it didn’t seem to work. I know the new locos are for TRS19 SP5 and...
I know I did it in the TRS22 forum because its an issue with the TRS22 built-in files. The Locomotive Traction Motor Sounds are not built in assets in T:ANE, so I installed new files that I just downloaded from JR into T:ANE to see if it was just my TRS22 install being dumb, but they didn't work...
I was just seeing if a fresh download of the sound files would not appear as corrupted. I wasn't replacing any files, nor actually editing any files. I just installed them into T:ANE because I kind of use it as a testing ground for things, but they were still corrupted. I used Audacity to open...
Recently, I was trying to find a way to add some GE Traction Motor sounds to my JR BNSF ES44C4 until I noticed that it actually comes with Traction Motor sounds that are built-in to the game as a dependency on the wheel trucks, but the .wav sound files are corrupted according to the Windows...
It turns out that stagecoach was correct, and I didn't add the build folder named "build-xxxxxx" into the local data folder path. I essentially created a new folder in the same location, but on D: drive (so ...\appdata\N3VGames\[new folder]) which is named Trainz_2022 and copied the...
The steps I followed were essentially:
- Create a new folder for your data
- Copy the files from your old data folder to the new one, and paste the path to the new data folder into the "Local Data Folder" bar.
- Then I proceeded to delet the old "build-xxxxxxxxxx" file in the old data folder...
The automatically generated folder is the one on C: drive, correct? In that case, the one I see is the one I moved the files to on D: drive. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm a bit new to this.
Hey Trainz Community, I was wondering if there is a way to recover my assets and content that I lost when I transfered drives. My C: drive was full, due to TRS22, so I moved the files to my D: drive, making sure to go step-by-step on the help guide, but when I finished my custom route was...
