Something changed and I am now back to logging in normally. This is what I get for forgetting about trainz:)

I have always logged in from the website which is saved. I did try from @mytrainz and it did work. The test for you is try browsing for the website and check to see if you can log in.

I am running the latest version since firefox automatically updates itself. I have been trying to figure this out since it appears to hang at the login screen after the login info is entered.

I was having the same issue. In another post, @jointedrail was given as an option. Since I was unable to login, I used @jointedrail so I hope this is not a problem.

I think I may have found the problem. For some reason firefox is not working with the online store, but Microsoft explorer is. I can still use Firefox for the forums and the other areas.

Is there a problem with the online store? I am unable to log in. I noticed a message indicating to change the password, but this did not work.

Please disregard. I finally figured out the problem. The issue was Norton. I disabled the auto-protect and the entire process worked.
